Petrus Joannes (Pierjan) Mombers 
Petrus Joannes, known as Pierjan, was born on April 22nd, 1835 in Beringen. Pierjan's father was Leonard Mombers and his mother was Catherine Elisabeth Vanderheyden. His paternal grandparents were Henricus (Henri) Mombers and Anne Elisabeth Gaethofs; his maternal grandparents were Jan Michiel Vanderheyden and Anne Marie Gaethofs. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Louis Pierre, nn, Felix, Philomena , Anna Maria, Bertholia and Maria Clementina. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 75 on March 29th, 1911 in Beringen.-
