Irène Elens 
Irène was born on August 25th, 1839 in Beringen and her baptism took place there on August 25th, 1839.1 Irène's father was Clément Pierre Paul Joseph Elens and her mother was Jeanne Colette Wouters. Her paternal grandparents were Jean François Elens and Marie-Catherine-Madeleine Delonneux. She had five brothers named Marie-Ferdinand-Emile, Armand Joseph Marie Jean , Joseph, Cyrille Julianus Maria and Jules Ludovicus. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 82 in 1921 in Brussel.1 -
