Gommarus was born on January 10th, 1788 in St Kat Waver.¹ Gommarus 's father was BROERS , Jacobus and his mother is De Voogt , Joanna Maria . His paternal grandfather is BROERS , Petrus and his paternal grandmother was Van Bosstraeten , Anna . He had five brothers and three sisters, named Jan , Petrus , Jan , Guilhelmus , Cornelius , Anna , Maria and Joanna . He is the sixth oldest of the nine children.
