"Marten"'s father is Bruers  ((Broeckx)), Marten and his mother is Ruelens , Lijnken.  His paternal grandparents are BROERS , Nicolaus  and Van Voirde (Van Voorde) , Anna. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Henricus, "Engelbertus", "Cornelius", Lijnken  and Elisabeth .  He died as an infant.
