Gummarus  was born on August 29th, 1576 in Waver.1   Gummarus 's father is BROERS  (BRUERS) , Joannes  and his mother is Keldermans , Maria.  His paternal grandparents were Bruers , Jan  and Vrancx , Petronella . He had four brothers and two sisters, named Augustinus , Jan , Judocus, "Jacobus", Maria and "Barbara".  He died at the age of 51 in 1627 in Waver.2
