Christianus  was born on November 7th, 1599 in Mechelen.1  Christianus 's father was Geert (Gerard) (De Jonge) BROERS  and his mother was Vlemincs.  His paternal grandparents were Geeraert   (De Oude) BROERS  and Madelena (Margreta) Couthans . He had two brothers named Thomas  and Gerardus .  He was the second oldest of the three children.
