Larkin Jones was born on July 5th, 1804.  Larkin Jones' father was Samuel Bicknell and his mother was Elizabeth Fitzpatrick.  His paternal grandparents were William Bicknell and Rosanna Cash.  He was the second of five children.  He had a brother and three sisters, named Lewis Terrell, Esanith, Clara and Dolly.  He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas, John, Linsfield, Benjamin, Randolph, Nancy, Jane, Rhoda and Hannah.  He died at the age of 77 in July 1881.
