Andrew P. was born in 1862.  Andrew P.'s father was George Washington Baker and his mother was Lucinda R. Asbell.  His paternal grandparents were Shird Baker and Elizabeth Betsy Asbell; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Asbell and Mary Paulina or Polly Harp.  He was the oldest of six children.  He had a brother and four sisters, named Odis, Martha, Charlotte, Elizabeth and Mary E..
