Nancy was born in 1785.  Nancy's father was Aaron Asbell and her mother was Nancy Ann Belcher.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Asbell and Dorothy Ross.  She was the fourth of six children.  She had two brothers and three sisters, named Lewis, Jarvis, Elizabeth J., Penelope and Elisha.  She died at the age of 28 in 1813.
