ESEK BROWN

ESEK was born on March 8th, 1679 in Newport, Newport, RI. ESEK's father was JAMES BROWN and his mother was ELIZABETH CARR. His paternal grandparents were CHAD BROWNE > and ELIZABETH SHARPAROWE; his maternal grandfather was ROBERT CARR ~> and his maternal grandmother is ? ?. He was an only child. He died at the age of 93 on December 4th, 1772 in Swansea, Bristol, MA.

  !ESEK3 BROWN (James,2 Chad1), born at Newport 8 Mar. 1679, died at Swansea, Mass., 4 Dec. 1772. He married at Jamestown, 29 Nov. 1705, MERCY CARR, born 7 Oct. 1683, died in Dec. 1776, daughter of Caleb and Deborah (Sayles) Carr of Newport and through her mother a descendant of Roger Williams. "He removed from Newport in 1715 to Swansea and lived on Gardner's Neck. His obituary states that he was survived by 11 children, 112 grandchildren, and 129 great-grandchildren.
