Anna was born on June 10th, 1770 in Olbergen en Achter-Drempt.1  Anna's father was Henricus / Hendricus / Hendrik  Staringh and her mother was Henrica Lubbers.  Her maternal grandparents were Lambertus / Lubbertus / Lubbert Lubbers and Johanna  / Jenneke Hendricxsen / Hendrix / Hendricksen. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Gerardus Henricus, Antonius, Gerarda and Gertrude.  She was the second youngest of the five children.
