Steven was born on March 18th, 1822 in Doetinchem-Ambt, Netherlands.  Steven's father was Berend (Beerent) Siebelink and his mother was Jenneken Michelbrink (Megchelbrenk).  His paternal grandparents were Jan Siebelink / Siebrink / Zibink and Dersken Everink (Everincx?); his maternal grandparents were Steven Megchelbrenk and Derksen Lovink. He had five brothers named Antonij, Steven, Derk Jan, Antonie and Gerrit Willem.  He was the third youngest of the six children. He had a half-brother named Jan.  He died at the age of 64 on January 8th, 1887 in IJzevoorde (Doetinchem-Ambt), Netherlands.
