Trijneken / Trijne was born on December 29th, 1688 in Suderwick and her baptism took place on December 29th, 1688 in Dinxperlo, Netherlands.1  Trijneken / Trijne's father was Frerik   Nijman and her mother was Berentien Eppink.  Her paternal grandparents were Gerrit Nieuweman (Nijman) and Trijne Huinink; her maternal grandfather was Peter Eppink. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Hendrik, Klaas, Geesken, Janmatien and Grietien.  She was the second oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother named Garrit.
