Geertruijth was born on September 15th, 1776 in Zelhem.1  Geertruijth's father was Hendrik Hebbink and her mother was Jenneken Hoeve.  Her maternal grandparents were Gart Jan / Garrit Jan Hoeve / Hoever and Maria / Marija Wassink / Wossink. She had three brothers named Peter, Derk and Hendrikus.  She was the second oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 77 on December 26th, 1853 in Zelhem (Bronckhorst).2
