Everdina was born on December 11th, 1796 in Doetinchem, Netherlands.  Everdina's father was Marten Gerritsen and her mother was Janna / Johanna Nijeman.  Her paternal grandparents were Jan Harmsen and Esselina (Esseltje) Bannink; her maternal grandparents were Dirk / Derk Nijeman / Nijman and Geertruijd / Geertjen Keunen / Kuenen / Kunnen. She had two brothers named Derk Jan and Evert Jan.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 60 on February 3rd, 1857 in Voorst, Netherlands.
