Wouter was born on May 1st, 1732 in Arnhem and his christening took place there on May 1st, 1732.1  Wouter's father was Jacobus / Jacob (Cobus) Seloo / Seylon / Silo / Silon / Sieloo and his mother was Maria / Marij Margriet Overhoeve / Overhoeven / Ophoeve.  His paternal grandparents were Abraham Seloo and Anneke Berents (Bernds); his maternal grandparents were Jan Overhoeve(n) and Lijsbeth Franks / Franken / Francken. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Jan Willem, Johanna, Elisabet / Elisabeth and Maria Margareta / Margreta / Margrieta.  He was the third oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named Johannes.  He died at the age of 81 on February 13th, 1814 in Arnhem.2
