Trijntje was born on December 13th, 1719 in Edam.1  Trijntje's father was Jan Dirksz Bruijn and her mother was Niesje Pieters Minder.  Her paternal grandparents were Dirk Bruijn and Vrouw / Moeder. She had a brother named Dirk.  She was the older of the two children.
