1800-08-10 Geertje Beets van Dirk Beets and Antje Leegwater
Geertje was born on September 10th, 1800 in Beemster.  Geertje's father was Dirk Jacobs Beets and her mother was Antje Ariens Leegwater.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Beets and Treintje Dirks Slot; her maternal grandfather was Arien Leegwater. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Jacob, Adriaan / Arien, Aafje, Grietje and Cornelisje.  She was the second youngest of the six children. She had three half-sisters named Maartje, Trijntje and Trijntje Pieters.  She died at the age of 75 on December 25th, 1875 in Abbekerk.
