Christian was born on August 18th, 1981.  Christian's father is J. R. Ewing and his mother was Kristin Barnes.  His paternal grandparents were Jay Ewing and Eleanor Ewing; his maternal grandparents were Ivan Barnes and Dorothy Ramsey Harper. He has three half-brothers named Declan, Bill and John.  He was adopted by Danny Ewing & Sabrina Barnes at four months old in December 1981.
