John Coon

John was born in 1748 in Mt Horeb, Warren Co, NJ. John's father was Thomas Coon and his mother was Hannah. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Coon and Catharine Emons. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Azariah, Izarell Israel, Aaron, William, Hannah and Lydia Lidday. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
