George Roberts

George was born in 1844 in Swillington, Yorkshire, England.¹ George's father was Thomas Roberts and his mother was Anne Clarkson. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William, Henry, Jane, Eliza, Sarah Ann and Faith Clarkson. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 56 in 1900.
