Pierre was born on September 25th, 1894 in Désertines.  Pierre's father was Pierre Antonin Martin and his mother was Thérèse Marguerite Boirat.  His paternal grandparents were Jean-François Martin and Elisabeth Bonnet; his maternal grandparents were Denis Boirat and Marie Godignon.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 71 on March 15th, 1966 in Désertines.  The funeral took place in Désertines.  His burial was in Désertines.
