Pierre was born on September 22nd, 1922.  Pierre's father was Jean-François, Ludovic, Pierre, Marc Hameau and his mother was Germaine, Marie Riviere.  His paternal grandparents were Jean, Eugène Hameau and Marguerite, Nathalie Augere; his maternal grandparents were Jean Riviere and Marie Basselerie. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Paul, Guy, Madeleine, Marie, Denise, Marie and Paulette.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 34 in 1956.
