Martha was born in 1752 in Frederick, Virginia, United States.  Martha's father was John Day Branson and her mother was Martha Antrim.  Her paternal grandfather was Thomas L Branson and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Day; her maternal grandfather was Thomas Antrim and her maternal grandmother is Sarah Zelly.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 75 in 1827 in St Clairsville, Belmont, Ohio, United States.
