Jay Welborn 
Jay was born on March 18th, 1908 in South Carolina. Jay's father was Julius Ebbie Welborn and his mother was Emma T. Cantrell (Welborn). His paternal grandparents were John Olstin Welborn and Julia Mirandie Smith (Welborn). He had three brothers and two sisters, named Louis, James, Clyde, Nancy and Mary. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 44 on October 2nd, 1952. He was buried at the Flat Rock Baptist Chuch Cemetery.-
