Hilda Maud WESCOMBE

Hilda was born on June 30th, 1885 in Upper Sturt, SA.¹   Hilda's father was George WESCOMBE and her mother was Lucy Ann BARTLETT.  Her paternal grandparents were John WESCOMBE and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Henry BARTLETT and <Unknown>. She had a brother and four sisters, named Percy, Mildred, Ella, Gladys and Cora.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 85 on March 15th, 1971 in Glen Osmond, SA.²
