Absalom was born on August 3rd, 1857 in Strathalbyn, SA.1  Absalom's father was Richard WEBSTER and his mother was Elizabeth DEEBLE. He had a brother and seven sisters, named Harold, Elizabeth, Ellen, Adelaide, Beatrice, Olive, Ethol and Hilda.  He was the oldest of the nine children.  He died at just 1 days old on August 4th, 1857 in Strathalbyn, SA.2
