John William Henry WAKEFIELD

John was born on July 12th, 1880 in Armagh, SA.¹   John's father was William Charles WAKEFIELD and his mother was Eliza Alice SMITH.  His paternal grandparents were Charles WAKEFIELD and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were John SMITH and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Albert, Susan, Mary  and Mabel.  He was the third oldest of the six children.
