George Alfred SCOTT

George was born on June 29th, 1901 in Woodville West, Adelaide, SA.¹   George's father was Henry SCOTT and his mother was Clara MATTHEWS.  His paternal grandparents were Isaac SCOTT and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Henry Thomas James MATTHEWS and Caroline FLEET. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Ronald, Norman, Herbert, Lloyd, Charlotte, Kathleen, Nellie and Edna.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.
