Johanna's father was James MARTIN and her mother was Susan CONSTANTINE.  Her paternal grandparents were William MARTIN and Joanna PROVIS; her maternal grandparents were Henry CONSTANTINE and Elizabeth LOBB. She had a brother and two sisters, named William, Elizabeth and Louisa.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James and Nancy.
