Eleanor Roas GURNER

Eleanor was born on March 31st, 1866 in Kadina, SA.¹   Eleanor's father was Frederick William GURNER and her mother was Orpah HERBERT.  Her paternal grandparents were John GURNER and Sarah SKINNER; her maternal grandparents were Thomas HERBERT and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Herbert, Alfred, Ernest, Sarah, Louisa, Emily, Florence and Ethel.  She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
