Elizabeth was born in 1886 in Heyfield, VIC.1 Elizabeth's father was Henry Edward GRIMES and her mother was Elizabeth Ann BARTON. Her maternal grandparents were John Hudson BARTON and Mary Louisa WEBBER. She had two brothers named William and Henry. She was the youngest of the three children.-
