John BORRETT

John was born on January 8th, 1881 in Langhornes Creek, SA.¹   John's father was George BORRETT and his mother was Henrietta Dover Castle JEFFREYS.  His paternal grandparents were John BORRETT and Agnes DONNEN; his maternal grandparents were Jeffrey JEFFREYS and Ann LESLIE. He had three brothers and a sister, named Jeffrey, George, Angus and Annie.  He was the oldest of the five children.
