Arthur Slack BAWDEN

Arthur was born on August 25th, 1879 in Kadina, SA.¹   Arthur's father was Robert Willoughby BAWDEN and his mother was Mary Ann CROPLEY.  His paternal grandparents were Hugh BAWDEN and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Jeremiah CROPLEY and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Sidney, Robert, Frank, Oscar, Lauretta, Beatrice, Eleanor, Mary and Ethel.  He was the youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 74 on January 7th, 1954 in Wallaroo, SA.²
