George Henry BARLTROP

George was born on July 15th, 1876 in Brompton, Adel, SA.¹   George's father was William George BARLTROP and his mother was Mary Ann BOOKER.  His paternal grandparents were James BARLTROP and Elizabeth PRIOR; his maternal grandparents were Stephen BOOKER and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Silas, Olive, Emma and Edith.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 85 on April 1st, 1962 in Hindmarsh, Adel, SA.²
