Harold was born in 1890 in West Branch, MI.  Harold's father was Charles Desire Wilson and his mother was Alice Mary Pierce/Wilson.  His paternal grandparents were Wilson and Virginia Desire/Wilson; his maternal grandparents were Pierce and Hannah Perrott/Pierce.  He had a brother and three sisters, named Osmond, Mac, Ione and Leah.  He was the fourth oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 71 in 1961 in Portland, OR.
