Stephen, known as Steve, was born on November 12th, 1948 in Cincinnati, OH delivered by Good Sam Hospital.  Steve's father was ME Kenneth (Tink) Frances Scheurer and his mother was Helen Ganim/Scheurer.  His paternal grandparents were Frank (Pop) Scheurer and Sylvia (Gram) E. Schwartz/Scheurer.  He had four brothers and two sisters, named Pete, Tony, Mike, Andy, Gail and Judy.  He is the oldest of the seven children.
