Louis Littlejohns

Louis was born on April 26th, 1856 in St. Lawrence area.

Louis' father was William Langdon Littlejohns and his mother was Aurilla King/Littlejohns. His maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, George, Fred, Jessie, Lillian, Mildred, Gladys and Harriet. He died at the age of 85 on October 14th, 1941 in Portland, OR. His burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Portland, OR.

    - Louis had a shingel mill in Indian Rivwer and Boyne Falls, MI. When lumber got scarece, the family began moving to Portland, OR around 1909. Three families (Littlejohns, Stokes and Cox) chartered a railroad car to move, stopping in Seattle, Wa to visit the World's Fair. They all settled in the Piedmont area along Haight Avenue in Portland, OR.
