John Turnbull

John was born in 1829 in South Shields, Durham, England. John's father was John Turnbull and his mother was Jane Rochester. His paternal grandparents are John Turnbull and Jane Grieves; his maternal grandparents are Joseph Rochester and Margaret Thew. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Edward, William, Margaret and Jane. He is the oldest of the six children.
