Male James Riley

James was born in 1829 in Manchester, Lancashire, England.1   James' father is James Riley and his mother is Mary Murray.  His paternal grandparents are James Riley and Elizabeth Hargreaves; his maternal grandparents are John Murray and Helen Wylie. He had a brother named William Murray.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 68 on March 4th, 1897 in Manchester, Lancashire, England.  His burial was on March 9th, 1897.2 1

James and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on June 17th, 1849 in Catherdral, Manchester, Lancashire, England.3   They had two sons and five daughters, named Samuel, James, Mary Ann, Ann, Sarah, Elizabeth and Esther.
