Male Peter Gregson

Peter was born on October 15th, 1840 in Walton Village, Walton Le Dale, Preston, Lancashire, England.1   Peter's father was Thomas Gregson and his mother was Jane Yates.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Gregson and Ellen Longton; his maternal grandfather is ? Yates. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Robert, John, Thomas, James, David, Ellen, Jane and Margaret.  He was the sixth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 66 on April 7th, 1907 in 41 Chorley Road, Walton Le Dale, Preston, Lancashire, England.2 

Peter's family with Margery Calderbank

Peter and Margery were married in a religious ceremony on March 7th, 1863 in Cuerdale Lane, Walton Le Dale, Preston, Lancashire, England.3   They had four sons and six daughters, named James, Charles Henry, William, Thomas, Elizabeth Jane, Margaret, Ellen, Polly, Alice and Lillie Sophia.
