Franz was born on June 18th, 1919 in Beregszo.  Franz's father was Georg Nix and his mother was Anna Kehl.  His maternal grandparents were Nikolaus Kehl and Magdalena Blum.  He was an only child.  He died as a war casualty at the age of 26 on September 2nd, 1945 in Ukrajna.  The funeral took place in Paschkowskaja katonai temető.
