Arthur Joseph MCGUIGGAN 
Arthur Joseph was born about 1853 in Ontario.1 Arthur Joseph's father was Arthur MCGUIGGIN and his mother was Elizabeth HOSEY. He had a sister named Patrick. He was the older of the two children.General Notes
In the 1891 Census in Smith falls, it shows a household of Arthur with 2 children, Arthur and Mary, and his mother, Elizabeth. Arthur was a carpenter
An Arthur McGuiggan and Mrs. Marg (or Mary) McGuiggan sponsored Veronica Hourigans baptism on dec. 11, 1892. If this is tthis Arthur, he was still alive, or was it his father?
More McGuiggan's showed up in the Rideau Recorder, though it is unknown how they were related;
I believe Arthur did have a brother named Patrick.

Daniel McGuiggan, blacksmith, killed in Brockville by cars. Buried in Stanlyville, 29yrs, wife and 3 children March 17, 1898 (See Father of this person for more info on Daniel and his family)
On July 28, 1899 in Burgess Ont. Daniel McGuiggan, age 72 died at the home of his son in law, Mr Henry Cooper, He was a native of Ireland, and his father was P. McGuiggan. Burried at Stanlyville, Ont., RC cemetery.
Arthur Joseph and Elenor were married in a religious ceremony on May 1st, 1881 in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada.2 They had two sons and a daughter, named Arthur John, James and Mary E..
