George LANE 
George was born in April 1859 in Bourne, Lincoln, England.1 George's father was John LANE and his mother was Mary Ann SHIPLEY. His paternal grandparents were William LANE and Mary PATCHETT; his maternal grandparents were Matthew Bromley SHIPLEY and Elizabeth BURROWS. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Edmund, Tom Bryan, William, Thomas William Lane, Sarah Ann, Eliza, Mary Elizabeth, Susan, Fanny and Jane. He died at the age of 61 in April 1920 in Thurlby, Lincoln, England. He was buried on April 30th, 1920 in Thurlby, Lincoln, , England.1 1 General Notes

George Lane born about 1859 in Bourne Lincolnshire. Died 1920 and buried at Thurlby Lincolnshire 30 April 1920. On the 1891census he was unmarried aged 28 and was the head of the house with his brother and sisters Susan, William and Fanny. By then his father had died and his mother was at another address and listed as a nurse. By 1901 his mother had remarried (John Bean) and he was living with her and her new husband.
