William was born in 1772 in Ireland. William's father was James KENNY. His paternal grandfather was Mogue KENNY. He had four brothers and a sister, named Bartholomew, Richard, Thomas, Philip and Sarah. He died in Ireland.General Notes

These two Free sisters most likely had a Brother Thomas,who also lived in Kilcavan, who was the first recorded enty of the Fitzwilliam tenents that were assisted leaving the estate, in 1847. Thomas left with wife mary and also Robert, mary 18, samual 16 Thomas 13, Anne 12, and Eliza 8. Also had a mary Rielly with them, most likely a relative.
