On his head stone in Tomacork, it calculates his birth date at 1852, staing he was 39 in 1891. The church baptism records show he was baptised in Oct, 1857. Catholics wouldn't have waited so long in those days. Baptisms many times took place within days of the birth because of high infant mortality. He qwas 34 at the time of his death, not 39. Just a note about the Irish in those days; They didnt keep track of birth dates as we do today. In many of my records, I see that they simply do not know how old they are when asked by record keepers.
