Mary Ann was 53 at her death. The 1928 version of "Who's Who in Omaha" states death at 10-30-1909, Irish decent, born in Illinois, also shows birth at 1856. According to registries of birth in Carroll, Iowa, when William was born on 4-30-1884, she was 26 and Michael was 33. This would put her birth year at around 1858 and Michael in 1851, not 1849.
Mary Ann and Michael were married in a religious ceremony on January 18th, 1883 in Arcadia, Carroll County, Iowa.2 They had five sons and three daughters, named William Edward, Joseph Michael, Francis (Frank) Thomas, Michael Joseph Clair, James Philip, Mary Ann, Eva Margaret and Ellen C..
