Death Claims Mrs. Edward i&rta Mrs. Edward Barta passed away at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Curry, on Monday morning at 2 00 o'clock. Mrs. Barta had been 111 for a year or more past with a disease that" bafr fled the physicians, having been ex- amined Jby some of the best specialists la the city of Milwaukee. She came home several months ago, since iwhich time she grew eteadily worse. Her condition was such that her husband was summoned to her bedside last week, arriving on Wed- nesday evening. A sad Incident in connection with •..the death of Mrs. Barta was the fact that her lather arrived home an hour after her death. He is chief engineer on the tug Smith and the tug arrived In port just an hour after she had passed away. Mrs. Edward (Ella Curry) Barta mas born in this city on Fenruary 20, lfc89, being" the daughter of Mr. and Sirs. James Curry. Three years ago iast August she was united in marri- age to Dr. Edward Barta of Milwau- kee, who with a baby of 14-months .survive to mourn the untimely loss of a good wife and mother. She is also survived by her parents and one sister and one brother. Mrs.JBarta came here the first week »a September to recuperate and try -and^egain her failing health. TRie funeral was held from,,St. Jos- ephloxhurch on Wednesday morning. Among those in attendance from outside were Mr. and Mrs. .Jos. Dood •of Racine Mrs. J.
