Sarah Ann was born on November 14th, 1846 in Plymouth, Devon, England.1 Sarah Ann's father is Samuel BEER and her mother was Elizabeth ELLIS. Her paternal grandparents are John BEER and Grace; her maternal grandfather is James ELLIS and her maternal grandmother was Elizabeth ELLIOTT. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John L., John, George, Mary, Grace and Grace. She had a half-sister named Mercy Ellen. She died at the age of 32 on November 7th, 1879 in Plymouth, Devon, England.1 General Notes

Sarah Ann Beer was born 14 Nov 1846 at 6 Salem Street, Plymouth. She was the last child of Samuel Beer and Elizabeth (nee Ellis). Her Mother died when she was just seven and her Father was remarried 19 Feb 1858 to Elizabeth Langdon Blake. Sarah Ann married Albion Jennings ( a Royal Marine) on 5 Dec 1869 at East Stonehouse. Plymouth and they had one child, Albion George, born 18 Sep 1870. In the 1871 census Sarah Ann is listed as being in the same house as her stepmother but there is no mention of her husband, so he was probably on a tour of duty somewhere. The odd thing is that there is also no mention of young Albion George who would have then been aged about six months old? So where was he? Sarah Ann died at the young age of 33 on 7 Nov 1879. Her burial place is not known.
