Prashant was born on August 20th, 1961 in Hazaribagh. Prashant's father was Mr Rameshwar Prasad and his mother was Meena Sinha Prasad. His paternal grandfather was Mr KRISHNA BALLABH SAHAY and his paternal grandmother is Rukmini. He had four sisters named Jhunni, Banita, Manjusha and Sarita. He died at the age of 43 on September 5th, 2004.
